Did Y’all hear about Spanish Football Starz Sergio Ramos Foopah? Apparently the Spaniard got a ‘Wee bit carried away in all of the team’s celebrations over Real Madrid having won the coveted Copa del Rey (King’s Cup) with it’s victory over Arch-rival Barcelona…
As the members of the winning Real Madrid soccer team were cavorting about town proudly displaying the vaunted 33lb trophy from the top of an Open-air bus, Sergio apparently lost his grip, dropping said trophy – which adding insult to injury, the bus driver errantly let its right front wheel roll over the precious King’s Cup! As reputedly Emergency Workers returned the multiple crushed pieces back to the team’s bus.
And whilst Senor Ramos tried playing down the severity of the accident by saying the Cup’s good. Real Madrid Spokesperson Marta Santisteban told the Associated Press that the trophy “is not in good shape, exactly. … It has to be fixed…”
