Alabama Crimson Tide Football has the number 1 rated recruiting class. That is why they get so many good players. One player to watch this year is Alonzo Lawrence. He is a 6-foot-1, 187-pound cornerback from George County High School. He runs the 40-yard dash in a speedy 4.43 seconds. Lawrence also has a 36-inch vertical leap. Alonzo Lawrence is very athletic. Some say that Lawrence is most athletic cornerback in the 2008 class. As a senior in High School he had 93 tackles, 2 interceptions, 7 forced fumbles, and 4 sacks. He also had 772 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Alonzo has great speed, can press, can jump, and has amazing athleticism. Alonzo Lawrence will be training with the Bama Football staff and working on his already great skills. Don’t be surprised if this guy steps up and plays great right off the bat.
