Rashard Lewis just went to the Orlando Magic. Lewis made his decision late Monday night. He thinks that the Magic will soon be championship contenders. And boy does he want to win. He is glad to be playing with a good big man for once. This is just the piece the Magic needed. Last year they made the playoffs and had a great defense. Their defense won’t change. What they desperately needed was some offense. He is an instant scorer. Last year Dwight Howard was being double, triple, and sometimes quadruple teamed. He still managed to get 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 assists a game. Now with Lewis, they will be able to take defenders off of Howard. They will have a more fluid and balanced offense. He will score 15+ points every night. He gives them another rebounder and 3 point shooter. The Magic should be a much better team. Look for them to be playoff contenders for a while. This is a good move for them.
