Steve Nash scored 10 points in the final minute of regulation play and then hit a 3 pointer with 2.7 seconds left in regulation to put the game into overtime. From there the Suns were able to pull out a huge win on the road against the other “best” team in the NBA. Steve Nash had 32 points and 16 assists while Amare Stoudamire scored 41 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
This was a statement game with the Suns showing they are able to defeat anyone.
