Divisional Playoff Predictions

January 9th, 2007 · No Comments

Colts vs. Ravens I think the Ravens will win this game. Peyton Manning, the quarterback for the Colts, is very bad under pressure and that is what the Ravens defense is all about. Steve McNair, the quarterback for the Ravens, has a lot of playoff experience. He should have a good game. The Ravens should force a lot of turnovers and capitalize.

Eagles vs. Saints The Saints should take this game. This game should be very close until the 4th quarter. These teams are both very hot. If Lito Sheppard, the cornerback for the Eagles, is out the Saints should have a very good passing game. I think Jeff Garcia, the quarterback for the Eagles, will throw a few interceptions and the Saints will take advantage.

Seahawks vs. Bears The Bears should win this game. The Bears destroyed the Seahawks in the regular season 37-6. This game should be closer because the Seahawks have Sean Alexander back and the Bears got worse. The Bears defense will force a lot of turnovers and will pull away in the second half.

Patriots vs. Chargers I am going to go with the Pats here. This is going to be the closest game in the second round. By stats the Chargers should win but Philip Rivers, the quarterback for the Chargers, has never played in the playoffs before. On the other hand Tom Brady, the quarterback for the Patriots, has had tons of playoff experience. The Patriots defense will stop the run and force them into making mistakes.
