Wildcard Weekend Playoff Predictions

January 5th, 2007 · No Comments

Giants vs. Eagles

I think the Eagles will win for a few reasons. The Giants have a lot of injuries and are known for making a lot of mistakes. On the other side of the ball the Eagles are on fire. They finished the season on a 5 game win streak. Jeff Garcia, their quarterback, is playing amazing for a backup.

Cowboys vs. Seahawks

I am going to go with the Seahawks on this game. The Seahawks have the loudest stadium in the NFL so I think that the Cowboys are going to make a lot of mistakes. Tony Romo, the quarterback for the Cowboys, does not have any playoff experience. It should be a very close game but with the Cowboys making errors the Seahawks should pull away in the fourth quarter.

Chiefs vs. Colts

The Colts should win this game. In the first half it should be a very close game but the Colts will take over in the second half. Larry Johnson, the running back for the Chiefs, will rip through the Colts run defense. At half time the Colts will make adjustments on the defensive side of the ball. They will destroy the Chiefs in the second half.

Jets vs. Patriots

The Patriots will take this game. Tom Brady and the Patriots have a lot of playoff experience. The Jets are playing very good football under rookie coach Eric Mangini but Bill Belichick, the coach of the Patriots, taught him everything he knows. The Pats defense should stop the Jets and force turnovers.
