Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets injured his ankle during the game against the Seattle Supersonics. This is very bad for the hornets as Paul (their best player) and Peja Stojakovic (their second best player) are both out with injuries. The Hornets were already struggling and this will put them in an even worse position. Desmond Mason and David West will really have to step up their game if they are going to turn this franchise around. The Hornets offense won’t be a pretty sight the next few games as Chris is averaging eighteen points a game and Peja is averaging eighteen points a game also. Chris is also leading the team with nine assists per game. The coaching staff better find a way to play without these two or else they are in big trouble.
