After Florida dispatcned of Arkansas the debate has already started who should be in the title game. Florida beat Arkansas 38-28 while USC lost which helped Florida’s case. Florida played one of the toughest schedule’s and i will admit they have a case against playing for the national Championship. I still think Michigan should get the shot for a few reasons.
The teams that beat Florida probably won’t be in a BCS game. Look at the top ten in the country right now how many teams have Florida beat in the top ten right now the answer is two. LSU who has two losses and Arkansas who has three losses. Meanwhile Michigan has played three in the top ten. Wins over Notre Dame and Wisconsin and one loss to Ohio State. In fact Wisconsin would be undefeated if they didn’t play Michigan. I think Michigan should get the nod but Florida will be in the championship game as it will make the BCS more money and no matter what anyone tells you it’s about the money.
My final question is this what if Florida beats ohio State and Boise State remains undefeated. Does that mean the national Champion won’t be a undefeated team but one that got beat. It’s crazy.
