Now sometimes I wonder what these owners are thinking when they toss their money around. First it was Gary Matthews Jr and now Carlos Lee. Lee is a decent hitter but like most he goes into slumps and struggles against certain teams. Lee is not a very good outfielder. if the Astros play him out their they could be in some trouble.
Lee has alot of mistakes in the outfield but I commend Lee on getting someone to give him that kind of money. I think the Astros would have been better off to spend that kind of money on pitching, but we will see how it works out for them.
