The Miami Heat return most of all their starters to a team that became NBA Champions. Shaq and Alonzo Mourning are a year older and Dwayne Wade is just going to get better. The Washington Wizards are hoping to improve on their position in this divison and hopefully go deeper in the playoffs.
Many people in Orlando think they have the talent to make some noise in this division. I’m not one of those. Charlotte and Atlanta will just be playing the string out in this tough division.
It’s going to come down to Miami and Washington. Washington just don’t have the bodies to bank with Mourning and Shaq so look for the Heat to win this division again.
