Everyone has the Tigers winning the World Series, but someone forgot to tell the Cradinals. Behind the hot bat of Albert Pujols and some great Cardinal pitching the Cardinals won 7-2 and take a 1-0 series lead.
This was a very big win for the Cradinals as it stopped the streak the Tigers were on and more importantly put all the pressure now on the Tigers.
If the Tigers hope to win this series now they must win game two as they can’t afford to go down 2-0 in the Series. The Tigers need to be alot more careful when they pitch to Albert Pujols in the next few games. When Pujols gets untracked he is very hard to stop.
