Free the birds as it was called was a walkout by Baltimore Oriole fans on what they perceive as another tragic year for their baseball team. You really can’t blame Oriole fans for their frustration with the organization. The fans in Baltimore haven’t really had anything to cheer about since earl Weaver retired and that’s been awhile.
I don’t know if they don’t like to spend more for talent or they are waiting for their farm system to produce them some quality talent. Their farm system isn’t one of the best around so it could be many years before oriole fans can cheer again for a winner.
