Sometimes I wonder why they pay major league baseball managers salaries when they apparently don’t watch much baseball. Take the Cleveland Indians for example who are leading the Red Sox in the ninth inning and David Ortiz comes up and is the winning run. Do you pitch to him? Hell no you don’t he has more game winning hits than probably anybody this year.
So, what does the Indians manager do he pitches to him and ortiz promptly puts it in the seats for a game winning walk off home run. If I’m going to lose I won’t let him beat me make some one else in the line up do it. I just don’t get it don’t managers watch any baseball
