Mark Martin will be making his 657 this Sunday and he has sure seen alot during that time. Martin has seen changes in sponsors from Winston cup to the Nextel cup. Safety has seen many improvements over the years too. You may wonder how Martin has been able to survive so long in a sport that chews you up and spits you out.
Martin’s formula is really simple you just go about your job the same way everyday and in the end things will take care of themselves. After so may starts burnout is always a factor but Martin keeps a refreshed attitude that makes watching him so enjoyable. This is Martin’s last year in Nextel cup before he retires and heads over to the craftsman truck series. If you can learn one thing from Mark Martin is he loves his job and is a class act.
