I’m not one to watch alot of hockey as not one of my favorite sports to watch, but last night i caught some of the finals as Carolina went on to defeat Edmonton to claim the Stanley cup. I’ve been following this series a little bit and I will admit it was a very good series and I was shocked that edmonton got it to a game seven. You have to give them credit and carolina for not choking in game 7.
Hopefully this showing by the NHL will draw new interest of fans to watch it on television and bring in new fans to the sport. Heck, i might even watch more after last night.
