When it came push to shove the Dallas Mavericks were a little tougher last night and because of it they now have a 2-1 game lead over the phoenix Suns. Jason terry and Tim Thomas got into a shoving match and the game took on a physical tone as the Mavericks won 95-88.
The Mavericks were led by Dirk Nowitzki’s 28 points and Howard and Terry combined to score 41 points to help power a balance attack for the Mavericks. Steve Nash led a group of players from the Suns with 21 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Mavericks held on. Game four is a must win for the Suns or they could be going home early.
