It’s amazing that more people don’t even care how many home runs Barry Bonds hits anymore. I guess the seroids issue has really made it diffcult for Bonds to shake and get people interested in his chase for the record. I don’t think he will make the 755 record that Hank Aaron holds but you never know. Bonds has to be burning out from all the press of his drug use that it may prevent him from going for the record. There is good news though in Bonds going past Babe ruth for second place. Ruth gets more press and we tend to look at Ruth’s accomplishments alot different now. We are starting to realize what a remarkable man Ruth really was. Ruth was loved by millions and maybe the greatest player to ever play the game of baseball. i know he has to be the most popular. I wonder what the babe would think of all this steroids and his record falling if he was around. Knowing the Babe he might just suit up and try to add more homeruns to his total. That’s just how Babe is.
