Kobe Hit’s Game Winner

May 1st, 2006 · 1 Comment

It was the Phoenix Suns who was forecasted to be up 3-1 by now, but the Los Angeles Lakers have had other ideas. Kobe Bryant hit two clutch shots one with .7 seconds left to send the game to overtime and then he hit the game winning shot to give the Lakers a 99-98 comeback win over the Suns.

Steve Nash had a couple of turnovers that proved costly to the Suns who now find themselves in a 3-1 hole against the upstart Lakers. The one thing about the suns though they can run off a number of victories in a row so it will be interesting to see how they play in Game 5.

The Lakers have played as well as they possibly can right now. I agree that people shouldn’t sleep on the Suns just yet. If they get a couple in a row then they’ve got all the momentum back for Game 7. I hope the Lakers still play with a sense of urgency so they can wrap it up Tuesday.
