Probably the biggest buzz at the combines has been Vince Young’s test number on the Wonderlic test. Many observers have different opinions on his score and his abilities when it comes to making quick decisions. I personally like Vince Young a lot, but I don’t see him really being a top notch NFL quarterback. He has good size and if I was drafting him I might consider him as a wide receiver.
Young took most of his snaps from the shotgun something he won’t be able to do in the NFL His speed will help him in certain situations, but as Michael Vick has found out all defenses have great team speed and it won’t be like it was in college. Before I would draft him I would discuss how he feels about switching positions if quarterback didn’t work out.
