If there is one thing I don’t understand in professional sports and especially in the National Football league it’s scheduling. Let’s take a peek at what I mean, who would you think has the toughest schedule this year in the NFL? Pittsburgh? Seattle? Since both of these teams made the Super Bowl right. Wrong again. Who does the NFL give the toughest schedule to none other than the New Orleans Saints? After not having any stadium to play in there reward is this year’s toughest schedule. I’m sure they appreciate it.
The other end of the equation is some of this years playoff teams have it real easy. Take the Colts they have only the 21st toughest schedule. How about those Patriots winners of three Super Bowls and there reward the 26th toughest schedule around. I think the team that got the biggest break was the Chicago Bears as they have the easiest schedule this year. There combined opponents have a winning percentage of .445 percent. This is just crazy!
