Duke’s inside and outside duo made sure that the Maryland Terrapins wasn’t going to make them there next victim as J.J. Redick and Shelden Williams combined for 61 points to lead the Blue devils over the Terrapins 96-88. Duke was swept by the Terrapins last year and Duke wasn’t going to let that happen this year.
Duke opens both halves with 11-4 runs to get them off to fast starts. Redick was his usual self shooting the lights out at the basket. As he needs only one more three pointer to tie Curtis Staples for the record of most three pointers made. Redick is amazing sometimes and may have already sewed up player of the year.
