Time for our nightly News and Notes for a Friday. Kenyon martin is in trouble again, as it has been reported he confronted a fan after the game and made threats to the fan. It’s also alleged that he sent one of his fans in the stands to confront people who were calling martin names. Sometimes you just shake your head about things.
Charles Barkley is taking heat for more of his of beat comments when he said Oklahoma isn’t a state for black people. The governor of Oklahoma found no humor in it and has blasted Barkley for his comments.
Some of the All-star snubs in the NBA are sometimes hard to believe. Carmelo Anthony will be watching the game at home and so will Chris Paul who probably will be the rookie of the year but the NBA said no thanks.
Vince Young looks like he won’t be a Houston Texan after all after the Texans gave David Carr a contract extension. Young will probably be headed to the Tennessee Titans and reunited with Steve McNair who has been lobbying the Titans to take him.
