Breaking news for sporty log readers!! Quinn Snyder has stepped down as the head Missouri basketball coach. His up and down times at Missouri are well documented and assistant coach Melvin Watkins will take over a squad that is 10-11. Only Baylor had a worse conference record than the Tigers.
I think Snyder seen the writing on the wall and decided it was probably best to resign as it was best for both parties involved. The Tigers need fresh blood and approaches to turn this program around. At one time this was a program that had no problem recruiting, but lately it has been a struggle.
