Maybe if the South Carolina had there way to would play Florida more often as the Gamecocks beat the gators again, this time by a score of 71-67. Tre’ Kelly scored 17 points and made some key free throws down the stretch to seal the win for the Gamecocks. The win also ended the second longest home winning streak at 20 for Florida.
The gamecocks swept the season series for the first time since the 97-98 seasons. South Carolina played well last night and looks like a team that could give people trouble in the SEC tournament if they played like they did last night. The tale of this game was the three point shot which Florida didn’t defend very well tonight.
