Now that the Super bowl is done and in the history books I think it’s time the National Football league take a good hard look at its officials. They were bad again in the Super Bowl missing calls and making calls that make you shake your head. I don’t know where the NFL is getting these guys but they better pull from somewhere else.
One call that is still astonishing to me is when Matt Hasselbeck throws an interception and makes a tackle by throwing his body into the guy who intercepted it to make the tackle. He was called for throwing a tackle below the waist. A blown call if I ever seen one. I could go on all day about officiating all year long but I would have a column thirty pages long. I hope the NFL will address this problem or the word fixed could be popping up a lot next year.
