Jason Kidd knows how funny the game of basketball can be, as one night you’re a hero and the next night you can be the goat. Kidd scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out 7 assists to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 91-84 win over the Detroit Pistons and snap there 11 game winning streak.
Coming off a road trip out west that seen the Nets go 0-4, they knew this was an important game for a number of reasons. The Nets needed to make a statement about who they are and what better way than the team with the best record in the NBA. They also wanted to continue there winning streak a home which has reached 9 games and 22 out of there last 24.
