Big Ben Or Matt?

January 31st, 2006 · No Comments

Today we will take a look at the quarterbacks that will be the main focus of the Super Bowl. Ben Roethlisberger of the Steelers and Matt Hasselbeck of the Seahawks will be the signal callers that there teams will rely on making the plays when they need them. Let’s start with Big Ben. Ben has a record as a starting that most quarterbacks would love to have. When Ben starts games for the Steelers they very seldom lose as he doesn’t make mistakes very often. He’s cool under pressure and makes sure he doesn’t do anything to hurt his team.

Matt Hasselbeck is very similar to Ben as he doesn’t make mistakes and all he does is win games. Hasselbeck this year has learned what to do when the throw isn’t there or the play breaks down, before he would make a mistake. You have to give Matt credit for taking control this season and doing what he needed to and now he’s playing for a Super Bowl.

My pick is even though he’s very young Big Ben hasn’t lost to many games and two of those losses came to the Super Bowl champions the New England Patriots.
