Steve Spurrier was very happy with the job his South Carolina Gamecocks did on Missouri’s Brad Smith for two quarters, unfortunately there are four quarters and Brad Smith made them pay for it. Brad Smith who accounted for 1,151 yards on the ground and passed for 2,022 this season and as Brad Smith goes so does the Missouri offense.
South Carolina dominated the Missouri Tigers early and took a 21-0 first quarter lead and dominated the Tigers 312 yards to just 174. And held the ball for more than 11 minutes longer. The second half was a whole different story for the Gamecocks and Steve Spurrier
Smith completed 21 of 37 for 282 yards for one touchdown and his speed legs ran for another 150 yards and three touchdowns on just 21 carries. Smith brought the Tigers all the way back with his arm and his leg. No lead is safe when you have a talent like Brad Smith who has a grasp on how to run the offense to perfection at times. This was a huge win for the Tigers and they will gain a lot of confidence from this for next year
